Timings are a guide and may move slightly on the day. Each block shows the window your child is expected to read within, not an exact individual start time.

Keep quiet in rooms and corridorsPlease keep voices low so contestants can recite and judges can listen clearly.

Question 1 is prepared in every category. The contestant has one minute to look over the page. All remaining questions are immediate, so the contestant begins reading straight away without preparation time.
